CSS Colorguard is both a Node.js command-line utility and a classic JavaScript programmatic library that can be used with your code.
This tool works by parsing a block of CSS code found inside a local or remote CSS file and outputting a series of problems it finds with it.
To locate these problems, Colorguard compares colors it finds inside the CSS file against the CIEDE2000 algorithm and tells the user which colors are too similar to other colors.
CSS Colorguard will tell the developer which two or more colors violate the algorithm's rules, where are they in the CSS file (line numbers), how many times they have been used, and what's the color distance (similarity parameter) between the problematic colors.
This output can be dumped in the Node.js console, or saved inside a local JSON file.
